CHIKODI ONLINE

According to me the most beatiful place in chickodi is "Ganapati gudda".Especially the weather...cool winds and the "Chandrkori " mark on the hill.

Let me continue..the next thing which I like about our Chickodi is the Chickod-Nippani road starting after Hudco colony.

Its very nice for walking...especially in the morning.And the ram mandir is like the destination of our walk....it's gives a good feeling to start the day after the walk . Located at Chikodi, the Adinath Temple is a very ancient religious shrine built in 1592. It enshrines the idol of Bhagwan Adinath in the semi-padmasana posture.

A 39 ft high manasthambha (a sacred pillar) is seen in front of the temple. Patashala, Shruta Bhandar and the muni nivas are situated nearby.

A Jain temple, built in 1972, dedicated to Bhagwan Parshwanath, is worth visiting.

We used to visit for every ekadashi n shivartri without fail.

Morover we can go to temples of Vittal-Rakhumai, Ganesha, Dutta on the same way. is the kalawati mandir $ bhajan $ balopasna conducted over there.

new sai mandir in mahaveer nagar is really good place to spend time for worship.
